ELO for a multiplayer game

Sometimes a strange magic seems to settle on a train of posts, Tim. You got me running, going out of my mind. Don't bring me down! No, no, no ... anyway, Mr. Merrigan seems to be saying that a misacronymed ELO does not encourage anyone to think that the rating system he invented was actually invented by the Electric Light Orchestra.
Elo is sometimes miswritten "ELO" because Mr. Elo was born with a three-letter last name that looks like an acronym in many languages and which is rare outside of Hungary and Finland (and perhaps rare in those countries too, I don't know). Excuse me - since he was Hungarian, Élő would have been his three-letter first name.
ÉLŐ Árpád Imre (Egyházaskesző, 1903. aug. 25. – Brookfield, USA, 1992. nov.
