This can be a bit of help, though maybe you already know about it. I do not remember what the first article there was about, but I do remember that the second article which is basically an entire game explained was bloody good.

I too would be happy if anyone who understands back games very well would publish something good and analytical in any form (digital or paper). Maybe searching the forum with the word back game would not be a bad idea.
