1/off (2) for starters.

4/3 gives another roll to win immediately which is needed almost 1/3 or time that white is off in two. The loss of a pip though if next roll has a 4,5,6 and is not doubles is much more important.

Comparing 3/1 to 3/2 (2) the latter play looks to set up better cube turns and also does not effectively miss on an immediate 2-2.
