If there are, then I guess making the 10pt is the best of them. Against four looming builders, however, securing a prompt defense, even on the lowly 22pt, seems a better choice. An anchor there threatens White’s two blots, challenging him to clean up at the same time that he wants to make a new offensive point. As well, White’s 8pt is frozen, unless he wants to open up another target for Blue. Mike
