I'm sure if you move one of your opp's spares from his midpoint to his 6pt it would make a world of difference and I'd rip.

I am sure you are sure, but could you please help me understand why are you sure that the difference is big enough for you to rip? What I understand form your comments is that this position is something like a "threshold" for you and I would like to know why (do you have a very similar reference position)?
