Hi,

first of all, this is a backgammon-forum, so asking a backgammon-question can't possibly be spam. So don't feel spammy about it.

I also think 24/15 is the best, white has to give up hit midpoint if he wants to hit. After the 18-split + 8/5, hits with a 1 (it's a spare checker) or 4 (he soon has to leave his anchor anyway) won't cost white a lot.
