Everyone will recommend the following. If you have done the following and it still doesn't work we will all also recommend the same, ask Xavier.

Reboot your computer and see if it still crashes. If it does, reinstall. That's the short version. There are other little tweaks and twitches you could mess with but this is the short and sweet. Do those two things in that order and get back to us.
