Hello, I found this thread by accident - if you want to know my opinion, perhaps you can email me next time to make sure I see the post.

I don't want to offend anyone by posting my thinking process.What I write is what I thought over the board. Please do not take it too seriously.

Initially I didn't make any adjustment for my opponent. I took position one simply because I thought it a clear take.

At least I learned new reference position which I made after the match.

While I was on the way to got gammoned I thought I should have taken skill difference into account.
Then I saw he is passing this position below (game 3 1-4/11p). I realized my took in game one was a huge blunder. (it was a blunder anyway but even bigger)
Because I wasn't sure if I should double or not.

So I started to change my cube action little bit (at least mentally).

I don't know his real strength, but I found many strange plays. I hate this one below the most.

Position two, I took the cube because it is such a huge take!

Position three, I estimated his take point is 22% and I saw he having less than that. I was happy when he took it.

After all, there weren't many desicions where I should change my action according to my opponent after 1st game. His PR was 5.84 and mine was 1.75 just for information.
