Yeah, my comment wasn't so much directed at pos 1, but more on the statement I quoted.

Thanks for the note on 3-ply. Short world class rollout seems to suggest pass by about .10, which is quite a big difference.

I just played a match on GridGammon where I was probably about 300 ELO favorite.

What's your thoughts (and anybody elses for that matter) on this position?

The score (after 0 games) is: -300 ELO 0, +300 ELO 1 (match to 7 points)
