White is Player 2

score: 0
pip: 81
5 point match
pip: 63
score: 0

Blue is Player 1

Blue to play 52

After Keith-count adjustments, but before adding 1/7th to the leader, we have Blue 74, White 82. When Blue plays safe, busting his board, and putting 2 more checkers on his 2pt, his Keith count drops to 69.

I think that lead is large enough that Blue need not worry about the wastage. I’m playing safe here. I’m afraid to pay now, fearing that 11 shots gives up too much equity. When he is hit, Blue almost always loses on the following turn, when the cube is turned.
