Question on combining ?

Wouldn't you combine them as follows ? The long rollout is 12 times longer than the short rollout so the short rollout should be weighted as 1/13 and the long rollout weighted 12/13.

ie..assume we play 12 games and break even ..our equity is 0.000 and then we play 1 game and win it for an equity of +1.000.

12/13 x 0.000 + 1/13 x 1.000 = 1/13 off course which is exactly the same as our equity if we played all 13 games in a row and won 1 pt.

So I don't see where std dev matters here when combining rollouts, but I think your math background may be superior to mine, or certainly more current.
