I don't object to calling this score GG, although I wouldn't - I'm with Stick as usual. I do object to using GG for something like 6aP. The gammon value of approximately .6 is significantly different than a gammon value of 1.0
Also, believe it or not, the fact that backgammons count at some scores is relevant more often that most would expect. For example (not directly related to the GG discussion) Tommy Nesbakk discovered that 31P-32 is best played U (24-21, 24-22) at C3a as opposed to S (24-21, 13-11) at DMP. Backgammons appear to be the difference. I expect that this is driven more by the need to get off the backgammon at the end of a game rather than the actual occurance of backgammons. I'm finding quite a few of these examples on the second move. That probably means they exist in the middle and endgame as well.
