Gammon-go checkerplay

To me there is no 'range'. Gammon go is a gammon value of exactly 1 along with all the other caveats of 2 away/Crawford. On Gammonvillage I tried to be careful in my articles and use the term 'pure gammon go' in my articles but that was to avoid any possible confusion.
Leaving the definition this loose definition that is like the one on bkgm.com for example is unappetizing. If I'm discussing a position using your or the bkgm definition I can never use it to discuss a position without further defining what the hell I'm talking about. Imagine if I showed you a position and said "How would you play a 43 here, it's gammon go" In your world the gammon value could be anything from .0500 ---> whatever the upper finite value is.
Gammon go is one of those specific scores that is defined and should be studied separately. Lumping it into a broad category feels non structured and sloppy.
