Gammon-go checkerplay

I have seen people call 2a4a GS (or GG) However, this score has many differences from pure GS. These are found as early as move 1. I have also heard people call scores like 4aC and 3a2a GG. I frequently see them play these scores like GG, especially 4aC. And, I've frequently seen them donk up their match because of this misperception. In fact, I always steer towards 4aC from either side since it is misplayed so badly. A gentle reminder that there are differences between these scores and the pure score can be very helpful. I really don't care what anyone else does. But, stretching the definition feeds the misperception.
