There are 2 problems with making the 5 point:

- since the opponent has an advanced anchor, the blocking value of the 5 point is reduced a lot. Because of the high anchor you're probably not going to be able to prime him if you make the 5 point now. The 10 point is a better blocking point.

- Since the opponent has a stronger board it really hurts to let him escape with tempo. If that happens, chances are you'll struggle to contain his last straggler which might run for home while you try to come in from the bar. Then you'll have 3 guys back and he will have 0 guys back.
