I would look at shifting if it would leave no shots, or if there would be no spare on the 6. Here I'd look at 14/4 10/5 and then either 7/2 or 6/1, because I'd want to make the ace. I would not look at 7/2(2) plays, that looks bad with the open ace point.

Here, 7/2 because if you play 6/1 and get hit, White's priming chances are relatively OK. Also, the homeboard blot is an argument for leaving the indirect.
