You are 100% correct, Stick.

For the USBGF OLM, which also utilizes XG ID's, you will need this: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/raw-html/

You need to wrap all XG HTML output in [raw] [/raw] tags.

I have no idea if WordPress hosted blogs allow plugins, but it works for us.
