weight bet

Haha. It depends what the terms of the bet are. Is anything permitted? Surgery? Cutting of a limp? The thing with kilos or libres is that it gets really hard to loose weight after a point. I lost around 35 kilos from 102 to 67 many years ago. 67 was at the end of my diet, after I got ill and lost some extra kilos because of my illness. But i can tell you that had I to loose an extra 5 kilos and reach 62, I would consider it impossible. The most likely way for Falafel to win such a bet would involve Matt changing lifestyle and gaining weight as result of a marriage with a woman that cooks delicious fat food for example. But I think a rough and healthy guideline to loose weight is not to lose more than 10% of your weight in 6 months. Losing kilos slowly is also the best way not to gain them back afterwards. Assuming that Falafel would take good care of himself during his diet, then the only possible way to win the bet is if Matt nearly doubles in size. Now without knowing Matt I would estimate this chance to be less than 1 in a thousand. Depending on his metabolism it could be 1 in 10.000 or even smaller, as some people no matter how much they eat, they do not gain weight. And this hypothesis, assumes that Falafel's diet is successful.
