Thanks for all the comments. I played 10/5, not even really considering 8/4 6/5. I have a blind spot where I don't even consider a double slot in front of an opposing checker. What I didn't weigh properly is how little getting hit hurts vs. how beneficial making that board is. It's horrible how my play is worse than 6/5 6/2.
