You mean after chess, checkers, Othello, ......? :)

Predictions are always difficult ..... especially if the future is involved (Mark Twain?).

Related to GO. I agree on a 9x9 board, but on the regular 19x19 it might take a little longer. Interisting is that the superhuge computers (#CPU more than three digits) have not such a huge advantage at all....
