I agree with Chuck’s sentiment that this is one of the more interesting positions we have faced recently. There are almost as many solutions as there are respondents.

Perhaps I am being too conservative, but I think we need to respect the 4.5 point board on the other side. Should we be hit, and then dance, XG will have a double direct to complete the 5 point board. For this reason, I favor playing with just 1 blot.

I like hitting on the 16pt because we are so far behind, I like playing 3/1 to minimize shots while duping aces, and I like playing the rest to make the 16pt “heavy” so that we leave no outfield blots.
