In Response To: Clock and camera (Chuck Bower)

While I agree with Chuck in principle, he has left off several other reasons that a clock might legitimately be stopped. A few that come to mind to me are:

1. Dinner break 2. The director has asked people to stop and listen to an important announcement; 3. Someone has spilled a drink on the table or board, or one of the players; 4. An unusual disturbance, such as a large rat, earthquake, or Carter. 5. Death or dismemberment of either opponent in such as way as to make play difficult.
