I used to play 24/20* (and it still looks good to me at first glance -- sending a 3rd checker back, gaining in the pipcount, and fighting for White's 5 point). But, 8/7(2) 6/5(2 wins the rollouts. I guess unstacking our heavy 6 point, making our 5 point, and starting a good prime is stronger.
