Future hit & cover/return shot variations after 2/1 leave White with a 4 prime and a blot but after 5/4 White will have a 5 prime and a blot. In these sorts of variations, White may well be forced to leverage those extra wins against her gammon loss but at least White will have a chance to curb some of those gammons lost with a better prime. Afterall, she is behind in the race and has greater 5pt coverage.
