I see 3 options, well I guess 2 options since 13/8 (2) 6/1 (2) is too inflexible.
6/1 7/2* (2) 8/3* puts 2 on the bar. This looks the better hitting play, since if blue wants to hit, he should hit twice to buy him time and try to bring his 13 point anchor back home. The thing is that blue will have to cover also his 3 point spare if he is lucky enough not to get hit. If he does get hit, then those variations seem pretty bad for blue. Blue will struggle to make any of the 3,4 or 5 points and white will have good control of the outfield. But also very importantly the average turns that white needs to enter is low since blue has a 3 point board now and might have a 4 point next roll. And blue's chances to clear his midpoint will suffer a major blow, if white manages to enter both checkers before the midpoint is cleared.
13/3 (2) on the other hand leaves a blot on the ace now, but also leaves a balanced well connected position. If white hits, then blue's position is not that bad. Blue still has his 4 prime, a nice race lead, he does not have to clear the midpoint and his back checker is under no real pressure from white. If blue is missed, then blue has some bad numbers especially some bad sixes, but otherwise his position looks good to bring it home. 13/3 (2) would be my play.
