One of Phil Simborg's Mantra is, that Woolsey's Law is the best single rule he learned. Why don't you start with it? I think, because most of the bgonliners are strong and smart players, leaving this rule of thumb very far behind. But for me, it is still helpful.

So i put myself in the other shoes. I have no doubt, that this is a take. And i would not decline a prop offer. I learned, even if it is for sure a take, it can be a double, because of the market losers. Therefore, i have my "chouette rule". Imagine me in the box, thinking to double, i ask myself the question: "is there a chance, to generate a pass?" If there is not the slightest chance, to get a pass, even against Colonel Whiteflag, then the double is perhaps premature.

Here, even Colonel Whiteflag would stay in the team. For me, ND/T.
