No doubt I would have played 13/9 11/7(2) 8/4, which according to XGR++ is wrong by almost exactly the same amount I frittered away on the play in my original post.

I consider these tactical plays... immediate gains/losses rule the day, and long term considerations have to take a back seat. I'm woefully bad at them.
