take drop 2 with 2 point anchor

This kind of decision is rather sensitive to the checker distribution and is difficult to judge unless you happen to have encountered, and remembered, some pretty closely related positions.
Blue's distribution has weaknesses (two checkers on the 1pt, gaps on the 3pt and 4pt) and strengths (flexible distribution of blots and spares to make new points). White's position has strengths (four-point board with no dead checkers) and weaknesses (checkers not positioned too well to complete the board cleanly, somewhat questionable timing).
I would probably take as Blue but am not too confident about it. Improve White's flexibility or worsen Blue's flexibility a bit and I'd be happier.
