I would try bar/21 9/6 here.

I always wondered if you are the attacker in a back game, then how many of your opponent's checkers you would ideally like to hit. I read on an article that the ideal number is 8-9. I never had the chance to test this number, but I decided to accept it blindly, because it is better to move on with something in mind than nothing at all. Moreover it feels correct.

White's board is not crushed yet. It is ready to crunch, but anyways this is not the focal point for blue at this stage. I believe that blue has a chance to force white to break his 22 anchor and that he should try it now. White will try to place a spare on his 22 point and avoid breaking this anchor in the future.

But even if we talk for the second best move, I do not believe that staying behind to hit white's last checker is worth it. I think that it is good to make sure that white will have 3 checkers buried at least, since chances are that white will keep his 1 and 2 points anyway, even if blue has many checkers to play with before breaking his prime. I believe that blue will win more gammons if 3 checkers of white are buried, this is pure intuition though.
