I would have never found this move without the candidate list of tapermike and the patience that a QF situation will give you. The real thing is how to get this OtB. The candidate list put my nose into the prime field. Training at time to see the midpoint as a transition point (see also the Potw #155 ), made it easier for me to see, that in a 3ply lookahead, the stacked midpoint could vanish. At ICU I say, "Backgammon taught me, that anything has to go".
