I agree with the other two posters that we need to keep our prime slotted, but I think it should be the 8 point in case he misses and we instead end up attacking. Then the value of the bar point over the 8 becomes apparent. 8/7 for me with the ace.

For the 3, OTB I would play 14/11 so next roll we have 6s to hit and other stuff to cover. I think that diversification is more important than a difference of a shot or two difference in covering numbers, so I didn't even bother counting them. That, and I'm lazy >>
