Containment + XG question

1. Looks like a big pass to me. That third checker isn't going to make it home to the two point.

2. Gnubg also has an even/odd evaluation problem -- 2-ply evaluation says "no double" (ND +0.433, DT +0.186) and 3-ply says "pass" (DT +1.267). Even so, I would think that a Gnubg 2-ply rollout would come up with DT equity greater than +1.000, so Double/Pass (if it also says "too good" because ND equity is greater than +1.000, no problem, since that's ridiculous and ignorable).

So I'd think that an XG rollout would come up with the right answer, too, with even or odd ply, and would be surprised if 3- and 4-ply rollouts differed very much on DT equity. I also would expect both bots to play this well -- it's not a rolling prime position, it's a two-thirds made board and containment position.
