I don't know that I'd call this a backgame. It looks like it'll just transition into a 4-point or 5-point holding game. Blue is only down by 5 pips and still has lots of chances to win going forward. Plus 4-5 backgames lack some of the features of most backgames because blue can ususally run off one of the anchors.

But I do think that a 'pure' play makes sense here. So, I'll whack the blot on the 5. Bringing down a third builder with 13/11 is my first instinct, but at this match score 4 blots seems excessive. So I'll opt for the quieter 9/7.
