Which bar to slot?

Slotting the 7 leaves fewer shots, but you lose more in the race when hit. it also unstacks the midpoint, which is good, but leaves a second blot which is bad. Also, making the 7 point might not do much for blue if white can run her backman, so the 18 point is probably more strategic.

That said, after training with gnu for several years I've realized that since gnu tends to overvalue 18-point holding games I do too, and this makes me favor slotting the 7 instead.

So I'll say slot the 7. I figure I've got a 50/50 chance of getting it right.
