Saw the game and was curious about it. Feels like when you're already this deep, that two quick throws won't take that much time off the clock and the FG is not a dead given. If you throw two incompletes towards the endzone, you've probably wasted less than ten seconds.

Another consideration is that you give yourself the chance of winning outright by going for the TD.
