Hmmm... hitting seems automatic, but it does give white more numbers to build a backgame structure and the timing to have a decent backgame, so perhaps the quieter bar/20 is better. But I can't resist hitting.

The other question is whether to step up to the 20 to get the runner out of there, or to bring down another builder. I think the answer is to run the backman - if this is turning into a backgame, then the additional mobility of this move will be a plus.
