You cube immediately a weaker player may know whether they have the advantage or not, you wait a couple rolls for a more complex position they are more apt to be clueless. Even when I started playing I remember that a 41 was the only negative equity opening roll and I should drop after it, and I didn't even know what a MET was at that point.
