Internet Playing Site Wish List

Although I like the idea in principle that Tom has laid out (Achievements), I have to disagree wholeheartedly on achievements that are luck based, especially for casual players. History has shown me that pointing out bad luck reinforces the view that the dice are rigged, and then they focus their attention to their luck and not bettering their skill.
And then they are much less likely to continue playing backgammon.
Instead, show some stats that are based on their results. Best winning streak, worst losing streak, record against people rated in the 1400s, 1500s, 1600s, etc. -- that one will really open people's eyes that there is actually skill involved. If you actually show stats like "Most consecutive times dancing on a two point board" then you are doing a real disservice to the community, because numbers like that are worse than useless.
