Internet Playing Site Wish List

I always come back to Art Benjamin's TED Talk presentation about how statistics being the pinnacle for pre-college math, and not calculus.
This is a bad comparison -- calculus *is* overrated in mathematics education, but it's not because calculus is off-putting. If you have a limited amount of time with which to teach mathematics, one should replace calculus with discrete mathematics and statistics. Calculus is a powerful tool with limited applicability.
I don't advocate discrete math and statistics because they're fun (although I think they ARE more fun than calculus), but because they're more useful to casual math students.
If backgammon isn't "fun" to the casual gamer, that's fine. Every game has its limitations as to what makes it fun and what doesn't. I'm just asking that we not bastardize the game just to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Backgammon, played properly, HAS broad appeal -- to the right audience.
