In Response To: What about Beavers in Matches at certain scores? (Phil Simborg)

I think a lot of the ideas in this post (Crawford, Jacoby, beavers, etc) are interesting and worthy of more thought. I have seen other posts recently with very creative variations like bluff gammon which absolutely deserve more attention. So here's my suggestion:

On the USBGF website, maybe we can create a contest for best rule innovation. Members can submit their proposals, and at the end everyone votes. The top 3 variations/innovations can be a side event at a big tournament or an online USBGF tournament to test it in practice.
