Ah, now I remember this.

After reading the linked threads I should clarify that I never thought of using what someone called "Chase's Rule" as a hard and fast rule. It's simply a reminder to consider using an otherwise poor roll to get the pesky trailer out of your hair before things get too dangerous. It's a play I think many people overlook -- use a poor roll to solve a problem -- so it's good to be aware of it. I'd love it if Stick or someone else could examine these types of positions and come up with some guidelines as to when it's correct to attack what I call the "guard" on the ace point. (I'll put this on my list of things to do, but it's a long list and I'm moving slow these days.)
