Jacoby Rule Brainteaser

In Response To: Jacoby Rule Brainteaser (Bob Koca)

OK I thought about it again..this time ignoring the small impact from free drop at {-1,-3}. I am assuming continuous model, so the leader will never score an undoubled gammon for the match…at some point the leader will get to a point where he should optimally redouble and does so.

The only difference I see is when the score hits {-2,-1}. With Jacoby on, trailer can't win gammon since its the Crawford game and cube cant be turned. With Jacoby off, trailer can still win a gammon.

Overall, I have the trailer gaining 1.6% MWC if he can turn the Jacoby Rule at {-3,-2}. Any other specific questions can go directly to my email…thread is getting a bit long.
