Very interesting, I have just skimmed through it and your suggestions make sense.

One minor thought for improving the paper: The actual position used, and its evaluation is of course arbitrary, but as you need to cite an evaluation in order to have numbers to work with, it might be better to use a computable position like a 3-roll bearoff.
