Normally I agree with you but here the gammon losses are so astronomically high I think it has to fall into pass territory. The problem with 4 primes (other than only being a 4 prime) is where they're positioned. This one is entirely in the outer board meaning when that blitz is successful the gammon rate is through the roof. The fact that it's all in the outer board also means there are no new inner board points made for the person being blitzed so even if they do hit back the attacker will enter immediately and possibly keep the attack going.

While there are 3 men back behind this not so massive 4 prime there are still 11 men in the zone for the blitz. The attacker's numbers look fairly well diversified and I don't see enough of a problem for him to continue the attack and escape at his own leisure to make me want to take this cube. Double/Pass.
