Jacoby Beaverpip: 115
score: 4
Blue is boxXGID=-aBBB-CC--A------b-cb-dcB-:0:0:1:61:4:1:3:0:10 Blue to play 61 Running off the anchor with the 6 seems wrong because it gives White attacking chances, just at the time he is about to crack. Blue has both 3 and 6 as escape numbers, and I think he has to trust that he can roll one of them later.
That leaves only two ways to play the 6, neither of which is appealing.
I do like slotting the 5pt with the 1. Blue becomes a huge underdog when White rolls the 4, whether or not Blue gets hit in the process. So, he may as well slot. After that, the best way to cover is to keep the outside checkers diversified. So bring on the attack. I think A = 7/1* 6/5 is the best play here.
Let me guess that you made the slot, but then ran out with the 6.
