Thanks for taking a second look at this one, Timothy. I had flagged it as one to study more deeply, but hadn't gotten back to it. Your post prompted me to do so. You're correct about bar/15 giving White much better 5s. The reason this is easily overlooked (for me at least) is because several of the 5s are indirect. Looking at White's 55, 53, and 51 (and to a lesser extent 54 and 56) after Blue plays b/15 (diagram below), we see that the "good 5" comes only after the other part of the roll has been played. It's tough to pick up on this kind of detail when simply scanning for "good 5s," but it's a good reminder to consider both dice together when looking at potential plays.
