Let me rephrase the question. Do you *want* a cash ? The replies so far tend to be either rather vague about the cube action next roll, or along the lines of "I play safe so I can guarantee a cash next roll". The interesting thing about this position is that the apparently safe ugly play is made to generate some *takes* next roll (I counted 10, all going to an auto to 4-cube AND with a lower game-winning chance and fewer gammons), and is therefore actually a more aggressive play than the standard pick and pass play. The takes (45,46,56,33,44,55,66) give enough extra MWC to outway the other considerations even though it seems very scary to risk a 4-cube take on 10 rolls instead of simply notching up a likely single point with 8/3*/2. But doing the mwc calculations otb would be nigh on impossible, so puts this firmly in the 'bot play' category - very weird-looking but correct. You would need balls of steel to play it.
