White has the better board and plenty of ammunition sitting on his midpoint. Putting a lone blot on his barpoint is an invitation to get knocked around and distracted from what I really want to be doing -- so I prefer locking up the defensive barpoint and working on priming/blitzing/racing from there. My 5pt is more valuable generally than my barpoint, and I need to put some kind of board together, which suggests 11/5. However, holding both barpoints will cramp White's 6s for some time and that inflexibility could be a real advantage. Much as I hate to pass up making my 5pt, I'll go with both barpoints.
