I can't imagine any other deuce then making the 4 in the house of blue. The ace is in question. Three candidates.
24/23.
6/4.
7/6.
Sometimes, i ask even OtB, "What Is The Game Plan?" And not only for me, but also for the Opp, not to play in his cards.
I discard the split. Blue is not threatened by a prime. Even if White can manage some points in the prime field, making the bar is difficult. It is likely that we have always direct escaping numbers. But the builder in the house are screaming for unload. I would insist in holding the anchor not playing into an upcoming asset, but also as an insurance, if the front position must be played in the attacking direction.
Between the other two choices i can see, that 6/5 strips the six point. Mom always told to be reluctant with this. The degree of freedom for playing in the house lowers. If we look at the game plans for blue, priming and attacking, there is a different value for the bar. It is a great blocking point, but also the reservoir for men to fight for new doors in the house. So 3 men can be an overload. If we regard the bar point as a point eventually to abandon, then we have two building number for new doors, regardless of builders on 5 and 7 or 6 and 7. Imagine a hit with the man inside. Suddenly, you have only one cover. But when the man is shifted in the house, you will have two covers. A last argument will be playing sets in the front position.
After all, I will play 6/4, 7/6.
And as always, grunch.
