LOL - I had the same as you, the number of possibilities to look at started to explode the longer I looked at it.

I formulated a number of questions about this position.

1. Do I want to move the anchor up or not? Moving it up has the advantage that it is less blocked, keeping it where it is puts some more pressure on the stripped outfield points, and increases contact. I think we like to keep the anchor on the 20, but not massively so.

2. Do we want to pick up our blots, and if we need to chose, which one do we need to pick up the most? I think we want to pick up the blot on the 10, because any hits there will help our opponent to escape one of the back checkers. This means that 10/8 likely is part of my play, and that in turn means that 8/6 is also likely to be part of my play, to smooth out the distribution. There is not much urgency to pick up the blot on the 15, because that covers the outfield and is not convenient to hit.

3. What do we want with our midpoint? We can use it to make a good blocking point with 13/9(2). We can also play 13/11(2) to keep outfield control, and at the same time 'look' at the open 5 point, often a good them when we have the 6-point and 4-point. Viewed on its own, I think 13/9(2) is stronger than 13/11(2), but after 13/11(2) we have two more 2s to play, and it is not clear that 11/9(2) is the best use.

Putting it all together, I like 10/6 13/11(2) best, followed probably by 13/9(2).
